September Athlete of the Month: Alicia Beasley

When did you start with Cumming Strength and Fitness? 

I started Cumming Strength and Fitness March 2015.

Favorite Workout?  

I think my favorite workout is Murph.

Least Favorite Workout?  

I don’t have a least favorite workout, I’m crazy like that.

Favorite Movement? 

Favorite movement I think is cleans.

Least Favorite Movement? 

Least favorite movement is bench press.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A little about me… I’ve been married for 23 years, have two awesome kids. I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life, I come from a really big family.  I’m been self employed for 12 years, I love doing anything that makes me sweat. I love to shop at goodwill, I hate country music, and I love watching rom coms.

What were you doing before you joined CS&F?  

Before I joined CS&F, I ran and biked of which I still do.

What was the first CD you bought?  

My first CD (or in my case, tape) was Def Leopard.

Favorite Cheat meal? 

Favorite cheat meal is Nachos of any kind.

What were your goals when joining CS&F and have you achieved them? 

I joined CS&F to challenge myself to try something different. I was in a rut and thought this might be fun. Did not expect to get so much out of it but now I’m totally addicted!

Do you have any other special memories/ achievements during your time here?  

I think the best memories I have are the Christmas parties… unforgettable. 😜

What advice would you give to a newbie just joining Cumming Strength and Fitness?   

I would tell a newbie that it may seem intimidating at first but give it time, Work on doing the movements right, and you will see improvements, you will see yourself getting stronger, and feel like  a badass soon enough.

Something you might not know about me is?   

Something some people may not know about me is that I’m a triplet.
