October Athlete of the month: Meghan Murray

When did you start with Cumming Strength and Fitness? I joined 8 years ago just after they first opened!

Favorite Workout? Murph

Least favorite workout? DT

Favorite movement? KB swings

Least favorite Movement? Snatch

Tell us a little about yourself? I have been a flight attendant for Delta for 21 years!  I am a proud aunt of 1 niece and 3 nephews!  My family and friends mean the world to me!

What were you doing before you joined CS&F? I was attending a Les Mills gym and a runner

Favorite music to workout to? Top Gun 

Favorite Cheat Meal? Something with lots of cheese!

What were your goals when joining CS&F and have you achieved them? I wanted a well rounded fitness program and to make lifestyle changes. Yes!  CS&F has been an integral part in my learning that there are many components to being healthy!

Do you have any other special memories/achievements during your time here? I enjoy participating in supporting our community, and have been able to facilitate our support through the Salvation Army Angel Tree each year!

What advice would you give to a newbie just joining CS&F? Be consistent!  Don’t worry about being the strongest or fastest, just show and be the best you can each day!

Something we might not know about you is? I have a fear of heights and claustrophobia, but love being on an airplane!
