November Athlete of the Month: Stephen Dangelo

  • When did you start with Cumming Strength and Fitness? 2 years ago
  • Favorite Workout?  DT
  • Least Favorite Workout?  Anything with 3 rounds of “Cindy” per round
  • Favorite Movement? Push-jerk
  • Least favorite Movement? Front squat
  • Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, sports, military, interests, etc.). I have a wife and 2 kids. I work from home (Web developer) and I love being able to see them most of every day. 
  • What were you doing before you joined CS&F? Took 2 year break from working out, but globo-gym before.
  • Favorite music to workout to?  Any mix with Skillet or Twenty One Pilots in it.
  • Favorite Cheat meal? All-Star Special at Waffle House 
  • What were your goals when joining CS&F and have you achieved them? My goals were to lose some weight and get into better shape. It’s hard to look at pre-gym pictures of myself now, so yeah I think it’s been successful for me.
  • Do you have any other special memories/ achievements during your time here?  I volunteered for the Summer Classic and saw how awesome a competition can be. 
  • What advice would you give to a newbie just joining Cumming Strength and Fitness?  Crossfit is hard, and if you stick with it you will be successful.
  • Something we might not know about you is?  I love cars (especially ones with 3 pedals). I’ve been doing Autocross and track days for 4 years now, and one day I want to do real racing.
