Anything with thrusters, but Kalsu is exceptionally awful.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Married my other half, Charles, in 2009. We’re the very proud parents of 2 sets of twins. Hudson and Lyla just turned 8, and Marin and Jensen are 3.5. They consume most of my life… I played soccer my whole life, so I was thrilled to find an activity that had a “team environment”.
What were you doing before you joined CS&F?
Occasionally going to classes at LA fitness or lifetime. Spin classes were my jam.
What was the first CD you bought?
I can’t remember what my first CD was because of Napster. But my first tape was Ace of Base.
Favorite Cheat meal?
Pizza or Sushi with lots of rice.
What were your goals when joining CS&F and have you achieved them?
I had just had my 2nd set of twins and I really just wanted to get back in shape. I would say yes, I got back in shape. But about 6 months after I started group classes, I started setting new goals. I’m constantly striving to reach those.
Do you have any other special memories/ achievements during your time here?
My first pull up was definitely a memorable achievement. Quite honestly, every day at the gym is a special memory. I love spending time with all my buddies in the 9:30 class. I never leave without a smile on my face!
What advice would you give to a newbie just joining Cumming Strength and Fitness?
Just keep showing up!! Even if you feel like you’re out of your league or that you’re never going to be like the people you see. Just show up. You’ll be so surprised with what you can accomplish with consistency. Come for the workouts, stay for the community. It’s one of a kind.
Something you might not know about me is?
I’m pretty much an open book! Just ask. But something that people always want to know is, how I ended up with 2 sets of twins? My answer- I have no idea!! We didn’t do anything special to get twins.
