Snatches! Dumbell or barbell! Am I great at them, no, but I love them!

Wallballs! I’m short! 

Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, sports, military, interests, etc.).
Let’s see CA born and raised. Been in GA for 8 years. Spent 4 years in Augusta before moving to Atlanta (husband was in the military). Been married for 10 years. Love spending time with my dog, Greinke. Love the Seahawks! I’ve been a Licensed Loan Officer, working as an assistant, for 6 years and now doing my dream job at Southeast Mortgage Company as a manager training other people to be Loan Assistants. Love the sun and the beach but not really going into the water. Just sitting on the sand watching the waves 🙂 

What were you doing before you joined CS&F? 
I was at another Crossfit gym in Augusta before moving here. Before that, I did beachbody workouts at home. My favorite one being P90X! 

Favorite music to workout to? 
Pitbull or Pop and Hip Hop Power station on Pandora

Favorite Cheat meal?
Legit Mexican food with an amazing margarita 

What were your goals when joining CS&F and have you achieved them? I definitely still have a lot of goals to achieve but I’m a whole lot closer to them now then I was when I started! I always had a goal to run a 5k and so far since being here I’ve run 2! The second one I ran much faster and ran the WHOLE time. (thanks Brent!) I still hate rowing but I no longer ultimately dread it! Next on the list is a pullup and double unders!

Do you have any other special memories/ achievements during your time here? 
Competing in the Summer Meltdown 2 years ago. That was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done and it definitely changed my mindset on what I can accomplish! 

What advice would you give to a newbie just joining Cumming Strength and Fitness? 
Come to 5am 😉 lol! I love our 5am group! But honestly it would be to put yourself out there! Come on a Saturday and do a team workout! I know it’s scary at first but I promise it’s worth it to get to know the community and develop some workout accountability buddies! 

Something we might not know about you is?
I’m half Mexican!
