Fundamentals

You may be nervous about starting something new- but we will make it fun and educational. CS&F Fundamentals is our exciting introductory program into fitness, nutrition, and movement. This program is an one-on-one informational and instructional course designed for anyone new to functional or strength training. One of our amazing coaching experts will guide you through the basic movements, get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique and get your body primed to join our group classes. You’ll work with your very own Coach For Life to set goals, talk nutrition, and work together to prepare you to move on to the next step of your fitness path at Cumming Strength and Fitness.

Professional Group Coaching

You have goals and we have solutions….in a fun and educational group environment. Unlike most gyms we give you daily options to better meet you where you are at and programs that are aligned with your goals: FITNESS and PERFORMANCE tracks. You want to lose body fat, maintain lean muscle-mass, and improve our quality of life. Our FITNESS group coached classes were created for people like you. Those who want to achieve a lean, healthy, strong body. If you want to impress your softball teammates or keep up with the youngsters at work, then PERFORMANCE classes are for you. The performance group coached classes are for more serious athletes who want to take their training to the next level. In these classes, we incorporate a wide array of tough movements meant to push your body and your boundaries. Expect to get strong and enjoy the burn.

Lost and confused about what to eat, how much and when? We will walk you through in a one on one setting to show you how to succeed in the kitchen- finally! Weightlifting Training

You want to get stronger but are bored by the globo gym routines of bicep curls and squats. Cumming Strength and Fitness’s USAW Weightlifting Club classes aim to improve your snatch and clean and jerk, classic Olympic lifts. Find functional strength and power by developing a strong technical foundation in these 2 lifts. Our programming follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level, to more advanced cycles prepping lifters for efficiency in their workouts, or in competition. Our Weightlifting classes are great whether you are looking to improve your technique, proficiency, and strength, or wanting to pursue Olympic Weightlifting as a sport.

Endurance Sports Coaching

You have a big goal to do a really long race or to sign up for an Ironman and you want a better plan. You have the goal, we have the experience and knowledge...that is a winning pair! Our expert and certified coaches will work with you to design a plan to get you to the finish line without being beat down and injured. Our Multi-sport programming is designed to create a powerful and fast athlete with endurance. Increase your performance output by conditioning the body to generate power efficiently, in turn greatly increasing endurance and stamina during events. You’ll get faster, stronger, leaner with less training volume. If you’re training for a specific competition, talk to us about an individually tailored training progression to prepare you for your event date.

Youth Performance Training

You want your teens to have a competitive advantage on the sports field while remaining safe and learning from a nationally certified coach. You are looking for a program to help develop your teens power, agility, strength and overall performance. Our coaches will build a personalized training program around your teens athletic goals. Your teens coach will put together a plan that will yield measurable results through test and re-testing to ensure they are progressing, while having fun. This will be accomplished in a small group training environment so they get one-on-one attention while benefiting from a group training push.

Kids and Teen Fitness Class

You want your kids to love fitness as it will build confidence and keep them active. We offer multiple solutions for young kids and your teens looking to stay active and to develop their fitness. Our kids program is nationally registered and focuses on developing overall athleticism and proper movement mechanics. Our youth athletes are taught to move well now so that they continue to move well (and prevent injuries) as they continue into adolescence and adulthood. It’s also important to remember that fitness for kids should be FUN. Our Kids coaches create an environment of excitement, community, and encouragement so that being active is never a chore.

Childcare

Want to make it to the gym but worried about your kids coming with you? We have a room just for kids and offer supervised childcare so parents and kids can have fun at the same time. Cumming Strength and Fitness was founded by families, for families. We love kids, and we want you to set a great example for yours by bringing them into the gym with you. Good habits start here! We offer FREE childcare on site for ages 6 months to 8 years. Ours Kids Room is a perfect place for kids to do homework, hang out, and unwind. Supervised childcare is offered for the 9:30 a.m. class on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.
